2022 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)  
Owen Dunn is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Nashville, IL who attends Nashville Comm. Recorded a 7.39 second sixty yard dash time. Large and physical frame with a mature build, has strength present. Primary third baseman, fields the ball deep into his body and shows stiff and segmented actions. Limited lateral range at present, hands work to both sides, will improve as he loosens up and smooths out the actions. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a medium leg lift trigger and a quarter turn, has a slight crossfire stride. Utilizes a compact arm circle and comes from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball showed some late arm side run and he filled up the zone well with it. Curveball had short 12-6 shape with bite and tightness to it at times. Also flashed a changeup with fade and slight depth, slows his arm down a bit on it. Right-handed hitter with a low hand and back elbow set, starts with a spread and open stance but gets back to even on the stride. Creates separation but has a minimal hand load. Displayed a flat bat path with average bat speed, tends to rush the operation at times. Will see more impact potential as he utilizes the lower half more actively. High intent swinger with strength, drove a couple during his round. Good student.
