Christian McConnell is a 2020 RHP/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from St. Charles, MO who attends St. Dominic HS. Young frame with lots of room for physical development upon maturity. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Short arm stroke with an abbreviated, compact arm circle. Releases from an over the top arm slot and creates some plane on his fastball that topped out at 74 mph. Works very quickly with a good tempo and attacks hitters. Throws strikes to all four quadrants and isn't afraid to run the ball up at the letters. Breaking ball has 12/6 shape and depth to it and he lands the pitch effectively for strikes. Good energy and pacing, will continue to develop nicely with additional strength.
