Dylan Colvin is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Media, PA who attends Shipley. Medum, athletic frame wtih square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Righthanded pitcher, side step moving into delivery with high leg lift up past belt with a hip turn at top, gathers on backside over rubber before coming down the mound. Full arm action with quickness to it working to a three-quarters release point. Loose arm, fastball topped out at 84 mph and maintained velocity throughout outing, developed consistent release point throughout, mostly true fastball in life with occasional cut action to glove side. Comfort mixing and pitching backwards, both curveball and slider have bat missing potential. Curveball was up to 71 mph with 12-6 shape and late depth while the slider showed more tilting action up to 75 mph with hard break. Maintains arm speed well on both offerings and both come from a similar release point. Flashed a changeup in the mid-70s during warm ups. Good student. Named to the Fall Connecticut Top Prospect List.
