Braden Bloom is a 2026 C/2B/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex Friendship. Recorded a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium, athletic build. Starts from a staggered stance behind the plate. Employed a very quick transfer and recorded a best pop time of 1.98. Worked methodically in the infield and showed good balance to actions. Also worked out in the outfield and fielded it deeper. Used a shuffle step to throw and showed a clean, quick arm with solid arm strength. Right-handed hitter and starts with a wide base and slightly open feet. Utilized a toe tap trigger to initiate swing. Swing is rotational and showed quickness to the hands. Stays through the ball well and lined the ball consistently to all fields.
