Luis Rivero is a 2023 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Hagerty. In the infield he has clean fundamentals and deliberate actions to the baseball. Has long strides and glove works well with accurate throws. In the outfield he funnels the ball well and gets rid of it quickly with accurate throws. He looks really nice going after the ball. In the box he starts with a wide base and really works inside the ball well. Has definite bat speed through the ball. Would sometimes get tied up during batting practice but in games the swing looked much more polished and showed the ability to drive the balls to all fields. Going to be a great lead off hitter. Outstanding student.
