Jaewoo Cho is a 2023 RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Long athletic delivery with some present strength and room for plenty more, side step start and stop delivery, gets tucked and turned at the top, compact arm action with a 3/4's release point. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and topped out 90 mph, more effort on his fastball release than on his secondary pitches, had good fastball running life from the stretch. Threw both a slider and a curveball, slider was the better pitch with some bite and depth. Also mixed in an occasional straight change up. Mixes his pitches and tries to keep hitters off balance. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
