Isaac Gala is a 2023 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Antioch, CA who attends Home School. Features a lean, athletic build with room to add. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and on the infield. Displayed a patient approach in the outfield with decent momentum through the catchpoint. Arm strength stands out. Throws with intent using a clean arm action. Was accurate with most throws, while reaching 88 mph during workouts. Showcased sound fundamentals on the infield. Footwork works around ground balls well. Can make the routine play consistently. Displays soft hands with the ability to catch the backhand well. Arm strength plays across the diamond. Still developing consistent accuracy. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance and gets the foot down early. Swings with intent. Shows quality bat speed present with the ability to get the bat head out front. More power will come as the barrel accuracy is refined. Right-handed pitcher. Athleticism plays on the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a repeatable delivery. Fastball sat 81-83 mph. Paired it with both an upper-60’s curveball and low-70’s slider. Pounded the zone with all three offerings. Can generate quick outs when located to the bottom of the zone. Very good student.
