Jake Downie is a 2026 SS/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Glenmoore, PA who attends Downingtown West Campus. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active and quick feet and a good idea on his footwork, soft hands fielding, has good arm strength and produced throws with good carry on them, has the tools to continue to improve defensively. Left handed hitter, hits from an upright and open stance, rotational upper body swing with a quick and compact hand path, showed good feel for the barrel with line drive contact. Good student. Named to the Mid-Atlantic High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.
