Jayson Parker is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 218 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lincoln. Big athletic build with outstanding present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright and balanced stance with a deep hand load and short stride into contact, has bat speed and outstanding strength at contact, lifting swing with big over the fence power. Runs very well for his size, 6.76 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has outstanding arm strength, moves well side to side, no reason athletically that he can't play corner outfield as well. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a compact high 3/4's arm action. Fastball worked in the upper 80's, would sink or cut it in the mid-80's, threw his fastball for strikes with maturity. Tended to slow on his secondary pitches but threw them for strikes with some feel. Mature pitcher who can mix it up. Very good athlete but power will be his ticket. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
