Joseph Mittiga is a 2026 C/RHP/UT with a 6-1 161 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has athletic actions behind the plate, comes out of his crouch well, smooth transfers, very strong arm, makes accurate throws, will over stride at times and loose balance and compactness but arm is a weapon. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand start, busy hand load can leave him inconsistent in his timing and path, flashed some hand quickness when pulling. Also pitched, has tall mechanics and can get into his lower half well, full ram path with a mid 3/4's arm slot, stays balanced and directional well. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, threw a short slider as his breaking ball. Two-way prospect with lots of arm potential. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect List.
