Patrick Honeyman is a 2026 1B/LHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Kell. Larger, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present. Primary first baseman, moved well around the bag and showed the glove on-time. Fielded the baseball with soft hands, making clean turns and accurate throws across the diamond. Demonstrated game-like actions while recording arm strength up to 77 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch on the third base side of the rubber. Lifts his front leg up to the belt before breaking the hands right around the belt. Separates into an inline arm path before accelerating into a three-quarters arm angle. Lands closed and creates useful extension as he works down the slope. Fastball showed some arm-side run and ultimately peaked at 79 mph. Mixed in a bigger upper-60s curveball with good depth to it as well as a fading changeup to mistime hitters. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance with a tight and flat hand set-up. Utilizes a negative toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Shifts his weight well into impact, creating consistent jump to the middle of the field. Has good strength and quickness in the hands. Showcased the ability to work all parts of the field. Posted an exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 7.49 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
