Walker Garrett is a 2025 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Hoover. Athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base and a high hand start, medium height leg raise, drops his back shoulder into his swing looking to lift the ball, put the ball in the air often to the middle of the field. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well laterally, fields the ball cleanly out front and presents his glove early, clean transfers, fundamentally sound overall actions, high arm slot with some carry on his throws. Also pitched, throws from a straight over the top arm slot with a short stride out front, compact arm action, repeats his delivery and timing well. Threw strikes with a straight upper 70's fastball, did get some occasional arm side run, also threw a soft downer curveball and a change up. Good athlete who should keep improving. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
