Jack Clevidence is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Works from a full wind up with a high leg raise start, hides the ball well in back, high 3/4's arm slot coming through, gets coiled well over the rubber and uses his lower half. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, gets good ride up in the zone and sink and cut down in the zone, comfortable pitching up, threw strikes with his fastball. Curveball was in the mid-70's with 11/5 shape and medium depth. Tended to slow his arm on his change up but has some nice dive to it. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with good timing and balance to his swing, short to the ball with good extension through contact, has some bat speed and ability to impact the ball. Chance to develop as a two-way prospect at the right college program with his athleticism. Good student, signed with Evansville. Named to the National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
