Owen Peltier is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Haymarket, VA who attends Paul VI Catholic. Lean athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Outstanding runner, 6.54 in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth overall actions and shows his athleticism, good transitions between fielding and throwing, can make plays on the move and has range both side to side and coming in on the ball, short and compact arm action with some carry across. Also played in the outfield, accelerates through the ball well fielding and carries his momentum through the ball, over the top arm slot with some carry on his throws, can stay on top of the ball more consistently. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a tight hand load and a hanging front leg trigger, rotational upper body swing with a line drive swing plane, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, has a longer arm action than he does in the field with a high 3/4's arm slot. Threw only fastballs and topped out at 77 mph. Very good student. Named to the Coastal Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
