John Wyatt Still is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Gray, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Long and slender athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary left handed pitcher with two-way potential. Has a loose medium length arm action on the mound with a low 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front and a tall finish, low effort mechanics that have some deception to them. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some running life, spots his fastball well and gets it inside to right handed hitters. Slider was a solid pitch with big sweeping life in the mid-70's. Projects well physically and will throw harder as he gets stronger. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Plays outfield when not on the mound, moves to the ball well and has good fundamental footwork through the ball, compact and quick arm, made on-line and accurate throws. Left handed hitter, starts from an exaggerated narrow stance with a nice shift into contact, has a loose and well connected swing with good bat speed, drove the ball consistently to right center field, loose hands through the ball, projects at the plate. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
