Louis Berini is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Bahama, NC who attends Northern Durham. Short compact build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a big early coil into his swing and good timing coming out of it, generates present bat speed with lots of pull side lift out front, aggressive hitter, has surprising pop and carry to the ball for his size, key will be continuing to repeat his timing against game pitching. 7.70 runner, has some athleticism behind the plate defensively, quick shifting side to side, gets low and flexible with compact actions, shows some arm strength and carry, still working on his exchange and release. Also plays the infield. Very good student.
