Braden Benton is a 2020 3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Monterrey High School. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, loads into back hip well, hands quiet through load and swing, swings hard and drives through contact, has legitimate pull-side pop with home run carry, good strength. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front, comes through the ball well, athleticism plays best moving forwards, strong arm, clocked up to 85 mph across the diamond. Good student, named to 2019 South Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
