Boede Rahe is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-5 243 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Extra big and strong mature build. Deep arm action in back with a long takeaway, high front side mechanics that tend to open up early, 3/4's arm slot, can be more consistent in his release point. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with late arm side running life when down and some riding life up in the zone. Curveball is a good second pitch with big 12/6 life and depth. Has things to clean up mechanically but showed swing and miss stuff at times and is a physical presence on the mound. Very good student, signed with Kirkwood CC.
