Braden Gebhardt is a 2022 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Warren, OH who attends Howland. Outstanding athletic build with present strength throughout. Long and loose arm action on the mound with a 3/4's arm slot, lower half stays on-line well and gets extension over his front side. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with good running action, comfortable working the outside corner with life to right handed hitters and locates his fastball well. Nice change up with fading action and good deception. Curveball has some sweeping depth with developing feel for commanding it. Left handed hitter, flashed big strength in his left handed swing when he was directional and got the barrel out front, ball came off the barrel hard when squared. Interesting young athlete with strength and with feel for pitching. Good student.
