Jadiel Perez is a 2026 SS/IF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Harmony. Nice athletic build with good present strength and lots of projectability remaining. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick lower half actions and works around the ball well, clean glove actions, changes arm slots well and has plenty of carry when on top. Switch-hitter at the plate with similar approaches from both sides, sets up wide and slightly open with a high and tight hand load, has quick hands and is short and direct to the ball, hard pull side contact with some jump off the barrel, has a bit more bat speed/juice from the left side but definite switch-hitting ability moving forward. Father played professionally for 12 years with many years at AAA. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championships Top Prospect List.
