Samuel Fernandez is a 2025 C/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso. Tall athletic build with good present strength and room for more. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has big raw arm strength and very good carry on his throws, exchange is quick and repeatable, replaces his feet well and has lower half quickness. Right handed hitter, starts from a wide base with an extended and lifted swing, ball really comes off the barrel hard when he's timed and squared up, interesting power potential and lots of projection as a hitter. Very good student, signed with Stetson. Named to the PG World Showcase Top Prospect List.
