2025 PG National Showcase
Carson Sheffer is a 2026 C/UT with a 6-2 171 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a deep hand load and some coil to start his swing, turns hard and swings hard, loose swing with some bat speed, got the ball in the air and showed some power, more there with additional strength. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance with nice athletic quickness in his actions, compact and quick arm stroke with nice carry on his throws, repeats his actions well. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his raw arm strength well. Good student with a verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
