Aaron Smollins is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Santa Monica, CA who attends Santa Monica. Features a slender frame with room to add. Ran a 7.12 60-yard. Showcased solid glove and footwork throughout outfield drills. Charges the ball well with the ability to get in a good fielding position. Catches the ball consistently, working through hops well. Quick, whippy arm action produced a fair amount of arm strength with solid accuracy. Utilizes simple, controlled swing with a calm load to get in a solid hitting position. Showed solid feel for the barrel throughout consistent BP round. Uses the entire field with a line drive approach. Power is gap to gap for now with the potential for more down the line as strength is added to the frame. Excellent student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
