Brandon Barcia is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Lakes Academy. Tall and athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a long and loose arm action, works exclusively from the stretch, has energy at release and tends to fall off to the first base side on release. Fastball was mostly in the mid-80's and topped out at 88 mph. Curveball had good 12/6 shape to it, threw a split finger change up that had nice sink with deadened spin and good arm speed. Will need to repeat his release point more consistently to take the next step. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, has athletic actions to and through the ball and a loose and fast arm, makes accurate low throws with good carry. Right handed hitter, starts from a balanced and in line stance, short hard stride into contact and gets too far forward over his front side at times, upper body swing, has some bat speed and flashed carry. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
