Domenico Tozzi is a 2024 C/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Camp Hill, PA who attends Camp Hill. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, pops out of the crouch well and shows quickness to footwork, slight turn in start during drills, quick and clean exchange with a strong arm and carry on throws to second base, gets the ball out consistently and on time. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, quick and compact operation working to a three-quarters release point. Present arm strength and whip with drop and drive mechanics and extension down the mound; fastball topped out at 88 mph and filled the strike zone, velocity increased throughout one inning look. Also spun slider up to 74 mph with late horizontal movement. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow; utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Big bat speed through the zone with barrel whip and looseness throughout. Gets closed with lower half moving into contact, finds the barrel consistently and barrel jumps coming off. Nice tools on both sides of ball. Very good student. Named to Pitt Indoor Top Prospect List.
