Carter Rivera is a 2029 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Riverview, FL. Large frame with broad shoulders and plenty of present strength. Easy to project this for a power oriented game long term. Primary position IF, with some hop to his step, moving well and covering ample ground side to side. Presents the glove nicely out front with softer action and crisp sound when ball hits the pocket. Showed the ability to change arm angles, using shorter arm action to make feeds up to 83 mph with carry and accuracy. Reps in the OF, sitting back a bit before coming through the play. Glove plays clean here as well and the arm reached 85 mph on solid one hop feeds to bags. RHH working from a wider base with a high handset and high back elbow pre-pitch. Works the hands inside the ball and stays in the middle of the field with advanced approach. Some length in the front arm as he triggers but gets the barrel to impact with plenty of strength. Accurate barrel with projection to look forward to as a corner fielder and middle of the order stick. Outstanding student as well.
