Max Crowder is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Hoover. Bigger athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Primary right handed pitcher who graded out better as a hitter/third baseman. Right handed hitter, starts from an even base with a hanging leg raise trigger and stride into contact, gets his foot down on time, has loose and strong hands and good hand rhythm into his swing, showed impact off the barrel and plenty of power potential. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Has quiet hands and feet at third base, stays balanced well, made strong and accurate throws, glove tap can slow down his release at times. Has a comopact arm action on the mound from a 3/4's slot, works exclusively from the stretch, low effort mechanics. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight. Showed some feel for a fading change up, did not observe a breaking ball. Good student. Named to the PG National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
