Alex Caddell is a 2024 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Liberty Christian. Large frame with good physicality to the build. Ran a 7.66 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, compact operation with good pace, hides the ball well from a tight three-quarters release, good jump out of the hand on the fastball with downward angle and heavy life at the zone, up to 85 here and has been up to 88 previously, slider has late lateral bite in the upper-70s, works in and around the zone and challenges well with both. Also worked out in the infield and outfield, easy mover in the outfield, plays through it well and arm strength really shows up to 89 to bags. Right-handed hitter, even base and slight wrap in the back, swings it very hard with good strength and lift to the path, creates good separation and brakes hard after impact, turned the barrel over consistently and able to create enough leverage to use his strength in driving balls a long way to the pull side.
