2022 Sunshine East Showcase
Brian Cordero is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-5 217 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends American Heritage. Extra strong and big athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a simple and repeatable stance and load, sets up wide with a crouched and balanced stance, has lots of bat speed and strength at contact, did a good job barreling up and driving the ball hard to the middle of the field, big power projection in the future. 6.92 runner in the sixty, moves very well for his size on the bases and on defense at first base, plenty of arm strength that could play in the outfield as well. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
