Owen Tross is a 2022 RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Large frame with some present physicality and plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher, fills the zone well with a two-pitch mix that garnered weak contact and overall success. Has a slight hook in the back but syncs up with the lower half well and challenges hitters with a low-80s fastball to all parts of the zone. Goes consistently to a projectable low-70s breaking ball that he is able to manipulate the shape of and generate empty swings . Also worked out in the infield with longer actions while staying low to and through the ball with some momentum through it and developing arm strength on throws across. Very good student.
