Griffin McKain is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.72 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has easy athletic actions through the ball and a loose and whippy arm stroke from a high 3/4's arm slot, made very accurate throws with plenty of carry. Left handed hitter, sets up in a wide base, dips down to start his swing and create some lift, easy and loose swing with leverage at contact, gets the ball into the air, mostly pull side contact, huge power projection as he continues to get stronger. Didn't pitch at this event but showed a consistent upper 80's fastball from the left side in 2024 at PG events. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
