Lawson Behan is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lamar. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth and fluid actions, confident actions to the back hand, good range to both sides and takes the right angle to balls, loose and easy arm with plenty of carry on his throws. Has a chance to be a high level defender in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open stance, deep and load, doesn't get off his backside consistently, has some strength and bat speed, middle of the field contact and is comfortable lagging the barrel, power will come as he learns to turn it out front. Defense is his best present tool but bat has a chance as well. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
