Drake Meeks is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Briarwood Christian. Tall and high-waisted frame, strength present with room for more. Primary right-handed pitcher with a short arm action and deep arm stab in the back. Stays in line with the plate and really reaches the front leg forward. Throws a true cut fastball on the glove side, not afraid to challenge up in the zone. Shows a hammer curveball with 11-5 shape and very sharp movement, would like to see it used more. Touched 85 mph, projects well. Secondary outfielder with solid glove skills, reads the hops and plays through the ball well. Good student. Named to the 2020 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
