Zachary Miller is a 2022 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Lakewood Ranch HS. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lean frame with a ton of room to add strength and fill out. Primary first baseman who stays low to the ground and moves well to either side. Shorter arm action with good accuracy across and throws recorded up to 77 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a fluid delivery and quality arm speed. Some angle to the fastball that topped out at 81 mph. Can get over the front side and work to the glove side of the plate. Three-quarters arm slot with some short run on the fastball at times. Curveball showed some slurve-like shape while he flashed a changeup too. Left-handed hitter with an even and slightly open stance. Smooth swing plane with good bat direction. Line drives to the middle of the field with clear barrel manipulation skills. Has strength in his wrists and projects for additional power with more strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
