Gavin Franchetti is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Atco, NJ who attends Gloucester Catholic. Franchetti worked exclusively from his primary spot behind the plate, displaying a slight side saddle set with quickness to the transfers to produce low on-line throws. He repeated the compact arm action well, ultimately posting a 2.09 pop time. Arm strength should continue to develop nicely in the future for the '27 prospect. Offensively, the righty started from an open base with a compact hand set and simple leg lift trigger, generating middle/opposite field contact with backspin. He flashed solid bat speed through the zone and controlled the barrel well, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash.
