Grant Mehrhoff is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-1 158 lb. frame from Marthasville, MO who attends Crosspoint Christian. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill moving forward, great physical projection. Primary left-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a medium leg lift and an online stride down the hill. Utilizes a compact arm circle and comes from a high three-quarters slot with projectable arm speed. Arm slot and timing will vary occasionally, fastball showed significant tail and sinking action, will miss bats. Command will continue to improve as he becomes comfortable with his timing. Featured a four pitch mix of fastball, curveball, slider and changeup, has an advanced arsenal and feel to spin for his age. Curveball showed short 12-6 shape with teeth that missed bats when near the zone. Slider is a two-plane breaker with true shape and sweeping bite. Changeup flashed slight fade and depth. Exciting young prospect with an extremely high ceiling on the mound. Left-handed hitter with a narrow and upright stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger with a big stride forward. Has hitter's hands with present bat speed, shows a flat bat path through the zone and an all fields approach. Excellent student. Louisville commit. Named to the 2022 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
