2023 Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)
Kenny Askin is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Landenberg, PA who attends Avon Grove. Askin worked exclusively from the IF, displaying quick twitch actions with tons of lateral range present. He showcased a repeatable release and got the ball out quickly and accurately across the diamond up to 81 mph. Overall can be described as a natural athlete and reliable piece in the IF with additional projection on the way. Offensively, the righty started from a wider slightly open base with a toe tap trigger, generating contact to all parts of the field. He consistently found the good part of the barrel with further room to incorporate the lower half in the future. Ran a 7.27 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
