2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Luke McInnis is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Seabrook, TX who attends Clear Lake. Long, athletic frame with plenty of room to continue getting stronger. Good runner, ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions with a bounce to the first step, clean footwork working through the baseball. Longer arm path to a high release, gets on top of throws and produces carry to both bags. Solid present arm strength that will only get better with added strength, recorded throws up to 82 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup from the first base side, belt high leg lift, longer takeaway and accelerates into a three-quarters slot. Creates downward angle, two pitch mix with feel for both in the zone. Fastball got up to 81 mph with natural cut, showed a two-planed breaking ball at 73 mph (2386 RPM). Projection arm that dominated in the outing. Right-handed hitter, spread stance with high hands, inward toe tap trigger stride, stacks the backside well, fires the hands and impacted it to the middle of the field. Intriguing power projection.
