2024 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Anthony Ungaro is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Paul Vi. Athletic, larger frame with present lower half strength and some room to fill out. Recorded a 5.00 second forty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a sound defensive skill set and some present arm strength. Attacks the baseball with some pace, fields cleanly off his front foot and maintains some momentum into release. Delivered accurate, low throws up to 86 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with drop-and-drive lower half movements that he repeats well. Simple leg lift into balance, separates on-time with a slight plunge on the backside of the arm swing. Strike thrower with slight cutting action to his fastball. Worked steadily in the upper-70s throughout his outing, landed a more traditional shaped 11-5 curveball for strikes that showed gradual depth to it and completed his mix with a cutter variation that displayed shorter, later bite to it. Will continue to improve overall arm speed with proper arm action adjustments and additional strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, crouched stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and smaller stride into contact. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics, creates some present bat speed and uses the whole field well. Flashed some budding gap-to-gap power potential when on-time and in-sync, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments. Solid, two-way prospect with upside as he continues to add more velocity on the mound and refine his stroke. Good Student. Named to the 2024 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
