Jake Sedmack is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot. Strong athletic build. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has active and bouncy feet through the ball, fields it with a clean gather to the side, compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, throws have nice carry and very good accuracy. Right handded hitter, starts from a wide base with a busy hand/barrel load, slightly open front side, swings hard and creates some bat speed and back spin. Also pitched, works from an abbreviated wind up with a medium length arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, developing consistency on getting over his front side and staying directional to the plate. Fastball was in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Killed the spin on his change up well, also threw a soft slider. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
