Jonathan Osborne is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-2 188 lb. frame from Tenafly, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Large, projectable build with long levers and strength present. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch. Starts slightly closed from the third base-side of the rubber and utilizes a lower leg lift before accelerating down the slope. Works into a compact arm path and releases the baseball from an over-the-top slot. Relied heavily on the fastball and struggled with command at times. Topped it out at 81 mph. Flashed a low-70s curveball with some depth to it. Projects for an uptick in velocity with added strength and future mechanical refinement. Secondary outfielder, worked through the baseball with some urgency. Showcased projectable glove actions with a loose and fast arm. Offers upside with improved footwork. Delivered accurate throws while recording arm strength up to 84 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a soft stride before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Maintains posture over the baseball well. Produced consistently loud impact to both gaps including a home run to right-centerfield during batting practice. Has plenty of strength in the hands and barrel. Posted an exit velocity of 89 mph. Ran a 7.14 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
