Anthony Lugo is a 2025 C/RHP, 1B, 2B, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Franklin Academy. A thin frame with a medium & compact build. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who uses a side saddle setup. He gains ground well working through the pop. Has a shorter release out front and kept throws accurate in the air down to second. Threw 69 mph with a 2.12 pop time. A left-handed hitter with a wide base. Works to it with an inside path and is able to lift at times. Worked opposite field for the most part during his round of BP. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who operates out of the wind-up with a backward step before getting into the leg lift up around the letters. Threw the fastball to both sides of the plate and mixed in an 11/5 breaking ball. Slowed the arm on a few changeups, but also showed a knuckle ball that had that fuzz knuckling action to it. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
