2026 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Landon Tillson is a 2026 C/MIF/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lewisburg, PA who attends Warrior Run. Medium athletic build with some lean present strength and more to come. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up in the same straight stance from both sides, has a well controlled and well timed swing from both sides of the plate, showed barrel to ball skills from both sides against live pitching, a bit more bat speed and power from the left side at present but is a high level switch-hitter. Primary catcher on defense, sets up square, has smooth and athletic actions out of his crouch, made accurate throws with plenty of arm strength. Worked out in both the infield and outfield and is a true utility player, arm plays big at both positions, actions and athleticism were more advanced in the infield, was light on his feet and showed lots of bounce, can play on the run. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a coiled leg raise to the belt, deep arm takeaway in back to a 3/4's arm slot, rotates his hips well and creates good downhill drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with some short running life, more velocity there if he hadn't worked out at three positions, works to the glove side well. Raised his arm slot a bit to get over a 12/6 curveball, also threw a tight low 70's slider that was a better pitch than the curveball. Outstanding student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
