Thomas Collins is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Upper Saddle River, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Collins works from a broader built, strong frame as a primary OF, taking direct routes to the baseball with a clean arm action displayed. Topped out at 89 mph releasing from a consistent 3/4 slot. Did a nice job of maintaining momentum downhill with clear carry behind throws. At 1B, once again showed off above average arm strength to ultimately top out at 87 mph across the diamond. Showcased reliable glove work with high effort to the mechanics. Offensively, started from an open base with a lower hand set. Small stride into weight shift with direct path through the zone. Good jump off the barrel to the middle of the field, line drive tendencies shown. Posted an exit velo of 87 mph. Ran a 7.46 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
