2026 PG Northeast Indoor Showcase
Nicholas Hricenak is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Dickson City, PA who attends Mid Valley. Lean young athletic build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a high hand load and a small leg raise timer, swings hard and creates plenty of present bat speed, hard middle of the field line drive contact with some jump off the barrel, projectable hitting tools. 4.99 runner in the forty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down and is quick and smooth coming out of his crouch, mid-body transfer, made accurate throws with some carry. Also worked out both in the outfield and infield, actions and tools played the best in the outfield but looked solid at both of them, was aggressive and fluid coming to the ball and his arm strength played well at both positions. Chance to be a true utility type. Also pitched, worked from an abbreviated wind up with a coiled leg raise start and a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, arm was probably tired from working out at all positions, also threw a sweeping breaking ball and threw strikes with both pitches. Very good student. Named to the PG Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
