2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Chase Norris is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Lebanon, PA who attends Cedar Crest. Lean and long athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has a loose and athletic delivery that he repeats well, arm is loose with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with lots of physical projection remaining, worked his fastball to both sides of the plate with nice running action. Created some spin on a mid-60's curveball and showed some early feel for a change up. Good bet to improve in all areas and maybe very quickly. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, moves athletically to the ball, arm works well, carries his momentum through his throws well, athleticism stood out for a 2029 primary pitcher. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium stance with a hanging front leg timer, short swing path, still developing the strength to generate bat speed but showed an accurate barrel. Excellent student.
