Evan Osterman is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Solid athletic build with some present strength especially in his lower half. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has a long and loose arm action with some carry across the diamond, more third base actions at present with his feet and exchange. Also worked out in the outfield, throws from a lower arm slot and makes accurate tailing throws, can quicken his release from both positions. Right handed hitter, sets up in a deep hand load, has a lifting swing with some jump off the barrel when he gets out front at contact, some projection as a hitter. Took a turn on the mound, works from an abbreviated windup with clean mechanics and a strong front side at release, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with big run and sink, big ground ball producer. Curveball showed good power and some sharpness with 10/4 shape. Firm change up that he had some feel for. Filled up the zone with strikes and had an idea what he was doing. Graded out better as a pitcher at this even. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
