Johnathan Bryant is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-0 196 lb. frame from Ruskin, FL who attends East Bay. Physical athletic build with lots of present strength. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, works from a side saddle stance, has a quick and low exchange and release, compact arm action, plenty of raw arm strength and made accurate throws. Also worked out at first base and showed his athleticism well there, has some hop off the bag and soft hands out front, can excel at either position and could probably play third base as well. Right handed hitter, has a simple and clean load and shift, fires his front side hard to drive his bat speed, lofted swing plane with some juice to the pull side gap, strength shows when he gets fully extended at contact.
