Ozbie Buentello is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Tuloso-Midway. Recorded a 8.01 second 60-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a solid frame and strong build. Hands and feet work with corner actions. Good internal clock getting the ball out on the turn and across the diamond. Two-hand funnel out front with clean exchange and quick arm stroke on throws the diamond at 76 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a medium arm swing to a 3/4 slot release working in a direct line to the plate. Controls the strike zone with fastball up to 77 mph and curveball in the low-60s. Worked two quick innings during game action with a pair of strikeouts. Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance and high hands. Hovering trigger with weight shift to the backside. Strength through the zone with some physicality in the box. Good student.
