Jamari Blackmon is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Columbus. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium balanced start with good hand rhythm into his swing, has hitters hands and creates bat speed while staying short and direct, comfortable hitting to all fields, lives on the barrel and flashed some pull side rubber. 6.82 runner in the sixty, has run 6.65 at PG showcases in the past. Primary outfielder on defense, has step by step actions to the ball and into his throws, has some raw arm strength with developing accuracy and consistency. Took a turn on the mound, has drop and drive mechanics with a full arm takeaway in back and a high 3/4's arm slot, still developing consistency on his release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some arm side life. Still developing feel for his curveball. Good student who is signed with Tuskegee. Named to the PG World Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
